Angat Vice Mayor Jowar Bautista realigns budget for COVID-19 aid
Angat Vice Mayor Jowar Bautista updated his followers with great budget news.
He led the realignment of funds from the Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses (MOOE) to be able to distribute P5,000 worth of aid for those who tested positive of COVID-19. This costs P5,210,000 in total. The vice mayor wishes that those who were positive of the virus last year and the past few months would be prioritized. Only 546 of 1,086 received aid and not everyone has been written a check. He also requested that the process of distributing aid be speeded up.
