Alleged drug peddler dead in Tarlac buy-bust
A suspected drug peddler was killed after allegedly resisting arrest during a buy-bust operation in Tarlac on Independence Day, police said Wednesday.
Joint elements of the Tarlac Police Provincial Office Intelligence Branch and Santa Ignacia Police Station conducted the operation on Tuesday, June 12, at about 10:00 p.m. in Barangay Poblacion East, Santa Ignacia.

This compelled the policemen to also shoot the suspect, resulting to his death.
Recovered from the crime scene were a motorcycle, a caliber 38 revolver, two cartridges of caliber 38, a misfired cartridge of caliber 38, two empty cartridges of caliber 9mm, three sachets of suspected marijuana leaves weighing 11.869 grams, and two sachets of suspected shabu weighing .33 gram.
