All in the family: 3 Vergaras win reelection in Nueva Ecija

Cabanatuan City Mayor Myca Elizabeth Vergara, her father, incumbent Vice Mayor Julius Cesar Vergara, and her mother, Nueva Ecija Rep. Rosanna Vergara, succeeded in each of their reelection bids in the province.
The three PDP-Laban members were proclaimed by the provincial board of canvassers.
The Vergaras’ ticket also swept the city council seats, according to a Punto Central Luzon report.
The Vergaras “anchored their campaign on reporting of their programs and accomplishments and projects, particularly in infrastructure, social services, education and COVID-19 response,” the report said.
“I believe din naman na it’s God’s will,” Rep. Vergara was quoted as saying.
“I’m just His instrument to bring progress and change to the third district, help more people as much as I can,” she said.
