A Smokey Mountain in Bataan? Limay Mayor Roque draws flak in social media

A dumpsite in Limay, Bataan that was ordered to be closed since 2015 was recently found still in operation. Mayor Livlir Roque who is running for Bataan Governor said that he has always been in coordination with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and found the timing of the news suspicious.

Some netizens think that this may be part of a plan to smear his campaign as Roque is running against incumbent governor, PDP-Laban backed candidate Abet Garcia. Other still stand by Governor Garcia, saying that he is the right choice to continue progress in Bataan. Read a few of their comments
