8 health workers, 3 others recover from Covid-19 in Bataan
BALANGA CITY, Bataan – The Provincial Health Office (PHO) reported on Sunday that eight health workers are among 11 new patients who have recovered from the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) in this province.
Governor Albert Garcia said that with the new results, the number of Covid-19 recoveries in the province rose to 107.
Garcia said those health workers who were reported newly-cured from the dreaded disease are 33-year-old female, 38-year- old male, 34-year-old male, 30-year-old female, and 36-year-old male, all from this city.
He said a female aged 58 years old from Orion and 33-year-old male and 35-year old female from Pilar are the other health workers who recovered.
Also included in the list of new recoveries were a 70-year-old man and 36-year-old woman from Limay, and a 52-year-old woman from Pilar, he added.
Based on PHO’s latest report, a 27-year-old woman from Limay tested positive for the virus, bringing the total number of confirmed Covid–19 cases in the province to 147.
The number of deaths from the pandemic remained at seven. (PNA)
