76 OFWs return home safely under Balik-Pampanga program

Another batch of 76 returning overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) were safely repatriated back to the Philippines and their hometowns under the “Balik Pinas, Balik Pampanga Program,” according to officials.

The returning OFWs underwent quarantine protocols and tested negative for Covid-19 before they were transported to their Pampanga residences, officials said.

Under Pampanga Governor Dennis Pineda’s leadership, the “Balik Pinas, Balik Pampanga” program speeds up the processing and repatriation of OFWs from Pampanga.

The provincial government also extends assistance through RT-PCR testing and mandatory quarantine in government quarantine facilities.

To date, 5,335 Pampanga residents have been repatriated under the program, of whom 111 are still under quarantine in New Clark City.
