74 Aeta kids in Pampanga, Tarlac receive gifts from CDC, OB Montessori

Some 74 Aeta kids from the OB Pagsasarili Family Care Centers located in Pampanga and Tarlac provinces received gifts from Clark Development Corporation (CDC) and OB Montessori as part of their year-end activity in Clark Freeport.

The gift-giving activity was held with the theme “Paskung Katutubu Proyektong Tagumpe Tutu (Christmas for Indigenous People, a truly successful project).”

The activity sought to provide a simple celebration for the Aeta children from Marcos Village in Mabalacat City, Pampanga and San Vicente in Bamban, Tarlac just in time for Christmas, according to CDC.

During the program, the kids performed Christmas Carols and enjoyed parlor games and holiday treats.

Converge ICT Solutions, Inc. chair Jose De Jesus attended the activity and thanked the children for the Christmas cheers.

Also present during the activity are CDC Assistant Vice President for External Affairs Rommel Narciso and CDC Corporate Social Responsibility and Placement Division (CSRPD) Assistant Manager Ronald Antonio.

“Sila po ang dahilan kung bakit nandito po tayo at kung bakit may programa tayong Pagsasarili Family Care Center. Sabi nga nila ang pag-aaral ang isa sa pinaka-importante sa buhay natin ngayon. On behalf of CDC and our colleagues, we would also like to thank our teachers,” Antonio said.
