51 Clark locators discuss corporate social responsibility in forum
Clark Freeport locators took part in a forum on corporate social responsibility at the Clark Marriott Hotel, according to the Clark Development Corporation (CDC), which organized the activity.
A total of 51 locators participated in the event that had the theme “Reawakening, Consolidating, and Innovating CSR Efforts in Challenging Times,” the CDC said in a statement.
The forum was aimed at inspiring Clark CSR Association Inc. (CCAI) members to be part of a collective effort to respond to the needs of the community and upcoming CSR projects by next year.
CCAI President Ronnel Golimlim encouraged other Clark locators to become a member of CCAI and “do great things together in 2022”.
Golimlim, also the manager of Widus Foundation Inc. shared various strategies to jumpstart CSR programs as well as different ways to engage employee volunteers.
CCAI is the first of its kind in the Philippines or Special Economic Zones in the world, according to CDC chair Edgardo Pamintuan.
Pamintuan thanked the CCAI for organizing the Clark CSR Forum as it shows the importance of CSR for Clark locators.
“Working hand and hand together, the noble objective is to multiply the impact of a shared social development agenda,” he said.
“With that in mind, encouraging private participation will inspire heightened inclusive growth in Clark’s surrounding communities so that nobody gets left behind,” he said.
