5 vaccination centers set up in Bataan, 10 more being readied
Bataan province has set up five operational centers for its mass Covid-19 vaccination drive with 10 more being prepared, according to the Philippine News Agency.
In a PNA report, Bataan Governor Albert Garcia said the success of the vaccination drive would still depend highly on the availability of vaccines coming from the national government.
The governor said he had requested the Department of Health (DOH) to share more vaccines so the provincial government could vaccinate a larger population.
Vaccination centers have been set up in the towns of Dinalupihan, Limay and Mariveles and the Bataan People’s Center and Lou-is Resort in Balanga City.
On the other hand, the 10 centers being readied will be located in Hermosa, Orani, Samal, Abucay, Pilar, Orion, Bagac and Morong and the Freeport Area of Bataan in Mariveles as well as another in a private sector-owned venue.
