4 multipurpose buildings constructed in Ecija town

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has announced the completion of four multipurpose buildings in San Isidro town in Nueva Ecija.

The projects are located in Barangays Mangga, Sto. Cristo, Tabon and Alua with the latter two built within the compound of public schools, according to the DPWH.

In a Philippine Information Agency report, Nueva Ecija second district engineer Elpidio Trinidad said DPWH is steadfast in the implementation of projects that will provide the public with safe and spacious facilities that can be used as a place for school-related activities and delivery of basic services.

“The two multipurpose facilities built within the schools will provide our teachers with additional spaces that will help them better carry out their responsibilities,” he said.

“The local government can also use the other two as offices that deliver social services to the communities,” Trinidad added.

The facilities cost P11.7 million, and was implemented through the agency’s Basic Infrastructure Program under the 2022 General Appropriations Act.
