Four “most wanted” persons were arrested by authorities in separate manhunt operations conducted in Central Luzon earlier this month.
The director of Central Luzon police, Brig. Gen. Cesar Pasiwen, reported that the four had standing warrants for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and rape.
“The entire Central Luzon police force, together with other police units, continues its intensified campaign to put lawless elements and wanted persons behind bars and maximizes its efforts to eradicate all forms of lawlessness in the region,” Pasiwen said in a statement.
Roxanne Madlangbayan, No. 9 most wanted person in Mariveles town in Bataan, was arrested on the strength of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Marion Jacquelyn Pallera Poblete of Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 2 in Balanga City for violation of RA 9165.
A P200,000 bail was recommended for her temporary release.
Lance Vincent Santos and Lord Almonte, both most wanted persons in Pampanga, were arrested for similar violations of RA 9165.
Operatives of Tarlac City Police Station served a warrant of arrest against Jonas Salunson, the fifth most wanted person in Tarlac province.
The warrant was issued by Judge Joefferson Toribio of Branch 11 Family Court of Tarlac City, for rape.
