3 Pampanga towns get perfect score in drug campaign audit

The towns of Arayat, Masantol and San Simon in Pampanga province garnered a 100-percent rating in the Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) Functionality Audit for 2020 and 2021.

The Pampanga towns were recognized by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) during the recent Regional Anti-Illegal Drugs Summit and ADAC awarding, along with other local government units that attained perfect or high scores.

Pampanga province and 15 other towns and a city were recognized foe its higher than 85 rating in the same audit.

They were Apalit, Bacolor, Candaba, Floridablanca, Guagua, Macabebe, Magalang, Mexico, Minalin, Porac, City of San Fernando, San Luis, Sta. Ana, Sta. Rita, Sto. Tomas, and Sasmuan.

The LGUs were commended for “their efforts in ensuring drug-free communities by complementing the national government’s anti-illegal drugs program through their local ADACs.”

The awarding was led by Interior Undersecretary Ricojudge Janvier Echiverri, DILG Regional Director Karl Caesar Rimando and Pampanga Provincial Director Myrvi Apostol-Fabia.
