24K Covid-19 patients in Central Luzon recover, 1K die – DOH
Some 1,277 Covid-19 patients in Central Luzon have recovered from the disease since the start of 2021, according to the Department of Health – Central Luzon Center for Health Development.
That brought to 24,857 the total number of recoveries since the pandemic started last year, representing 83 percent of the 29,917 confirmed infections, the DOH-CLCHD said in its regional case bulletin.
Active cases in Central Luzon are now at 4,002, the bulletin said.
Of that figure, 143 are new cases reported on March 2.
But the bulletin said 1,751 are asymptomatic while 2,103 are mild cases. On the other hand, 67 are moderate cases, 64 are severe cases, and 17 are in critical condition.
Covid-19 deaths in Central Luzon have reached 1,058, according to the bulletin.
