The San Fernando City Hall and Heroes Hall have each received their respective Safety Seals from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), officials said.
The two buildings obtained the certification after an inspection on October 15, according to officials.
San Fernando City was found to have fully complied with all requirements under the checklist of the DILG’s Safety Seal Certification under Joint Memorandum Circular 21-01.
The criteria include the use of StaySafe application and health declaration card; availability of temperature or thermal scanner to assess employees, clients, and visitors; and isolation area for identified symptomatic employees;
Display of BHERTS and other Covid-19 emergency hotlines; availability of handwashing stations; installation of physical barriers in enclosed areas to maintain social distancing; and compliance to the disinfection protocol.
The DILG-Pampanga awarded the safety seal certifications to the city government represented by Human Resource Management officer Rachelle Yusi.
