2.9-km road boosts farmers’ market access in San Ildefonso
The Department of Agriculture is poised to inaugurate a P50 million farm-to-market road that will help farmers in San Ildefonso town get to the market faster and more conveniently.
The project under the Department of Agriculture (DA)-Philippine Rural Development Project (PRDP) is seen to improve farming and commerce in Barangays Sumandig and Bubulong Malaki.
A final inspection of the inspection project was made on June 4, and it is expected to be inaugurated later this month, according to officials.
The 2.9-kilometer will cut travel time from Bubulong Malaki to the town by at least 10 minutes, officials said.
The project is also seen to help increase incomes in the communities and facilitate the delivery of government services to the residents.
