1,990 deaths, 76K recoveries in Central Luzon – DOH

The number of Central Luzon residents who recovered from Covid-19 has risen to 75,976 with 3,047 patients beating the virus, according to the latest regional case bulletin of the Department of Health-Central Luzon Center for Health Development.

The recoveries account for 86.9 percent of the 87,409 total Covid-19 cases in Region 3, the case bulletin said.

A total of 9,443 patients are considered active cases in Central Luzon, of whom 9,260 cases are mild, 44 are asymptomatic, 58 are severe, 62 are moderate, and 19 are in critical condition, according to the bulletin.

The total number of Covid-19 deaths in the region stood at 1,990, representing 2.3 percent of the caseload.
