195 police recruits in Central Luzon take oath

The director of Police Regional Office-3 in Central Luzon, Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay, administered the oath of office to a total of 195 recruits in Central Luzon.
The recruits were chosen after a stringent screening process conducted by the Regional Screening Committee on Recruitment.
“As new police personnel, strive to be an instrument of change and fulfill the goals of the Philippine National Police (PNP). Don’t waste the opportunity given to you and remember that many were called but only you were chosen,” Baccay said in a Philippine Information Agency report.
“Always remember that what is right must be left right, what is wrong must be set right. One of our focuses is internal cleansing,” he was quoted as saying.
“As neophytes in the PNP service, build your foundation on these values namely integrity, commitment, genuine concern and excellent police services to our communities,” Baccay added.
After their oath-taking ceremony, the new police recruits will further undergo one-year training at the Regional Training School 3 in Magalang, Pampanga.
