The Mabalacat City government has set up a new makeshift Covid-19 swabbing and isolation facility at the Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) compound, officials said on Sunday.

Mabalacat City Mayor Crisostomo Garbo personally inspected the 100-bed facility consisting of two large tents with air conditioning units and aimed at supplementing the hospitals and isolation facilities for Covid-19 patients.

The mayor assured the public that the city government would continue to be proactive in improving healthcare services during the pandemic.

He also conducted an inspection on the city’s vaccine storage facility housing the freezers for Covid-19 vaccines.
