100 Aeta families in Olongapo & Capas get early Christmas gifts
Some 100 Aeta families from Olongapo City and Capas, Tarlac received early Christmas presents from SM Supermalls.
Christmas packs were distributed to the families from the communities under the mall operator’s “100 Days of Caring” campaign, according to reports.
Aeta families from Iram Resettlement Area in New Cabalan, Olongapo City, and local tour guides of Mt. Pinatubo in Capas, Tarlac were some of the beneficiaries.
They received the gifts from SM City Olongapo Downtown, SM City Olongapo Central and SM City Tarlac.
The gift-giving is part of SM Supermalls pledge to donate to over 10,000 beneficiaries, including communities in need, hardworking SM employees, medical frontliners and dedicated delivery partners during the launching of Supermalls “100 Days of Caring and Giving” countdown to Christmas virtual event on September 16.
SM’s “100 Days of Caring” campaign aims to give back to people who have been part of their meaningful existence. It features 100 days of spreading love, thoughtfulness, and care for one another and for the communities where SM has malls.
