10 killed, 132 arrested in another ‘one time, big time’ drug ops in Bulacan
At least 10 drug dealers were killed while 132 others were arrested in a series of “One Time, Big Time” anti-drug operations in different parts of Bulacan on Thursday.
Bulacan Police Director Senior Supt. Romeo Caramat Jr. reported on Friday to Central Luzon Police Regional Director Chief Supt. Amador Corpuz that more than a kilo of shabu and 12 firearms were seized in the province-wide anti-drug operations.
Caramat said a total of 78 police operations were conducted that led to nine encounters and resulted to the death of 10 drug personalities. Of the total police operations, 67 were buy-bust and 11 were raids on pot sessions and Oplan Sita.
He said the drug hauled includes 360 plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing a total of 109.98 grams; four tea bags of suspected dried marijuana leaves; six caliber .38 revolvers; five improvised shotguns and a caliber .45 gun were seized during the police operations.
In the City of San Jose del Monte, Supt. Fitz Macariola said the city police Drug Enforcement Unit conducted eight anti-drug operations that resulted to the capture of 29 drug personalities.
Macariola said the anti-drug campaign of the city police department would continue to track down drug suspects in the city. (PNA)
