Pamintuan outlines 6-year development blueprint for Angeles
Angeles City Mayor Ed Pamintuan is taking a cue from President Rodrigo Duterte’s “Build Build Build” infrastructure plan for the local government’s six-year development blueprint.
The Pampanga politiko on August 9 said Angeles City’s six-year comprehensive development plan will involve several infrastructure projects aimed at achieving sustanaible development.
Pamintuan said among the infrastructure projects lined up in the next six years are the construction and widening of new city road networks, the widening of several bridges, and the building of a flyover at the MacArthur Highway-Sto Entierro Intersection.
Aside from infrastructure projects, the Angeles city government also aims to enhance several of the local government’s processes and systems.
Pamintuan added that he also plans to improve the city’s drug rehabilitation programs and various social welfare services, emergency response, and sanitation services.
“The programs and projects that are included shall ensure the Angeleños a bright future ahead of them. These legacies are fruit of our public-private collaboration which has been the main thrust of our governance,” Pamintuan said.
