Over 150 Tarlaqueños apply as professional housekeepers to Japan

Aug 8, 2018 @ 16:27

More than 150 individuals from Tarlac City have expressed interest to work in Japan as professional housekeepers.

The applicants showed up during the Special Recruitment Activity for Japan Employment as Professional Housekeeper held Wednesday at the Tarlac City Hall Bulwagan.

Magsaysay Global, through the help of the City Manpower Development and Employment Service Office (CMDESO), held the recruitment activity.

According to the city government, this was in line with Tarlac City Mayor Cristy Angeles’ goal to alleviate poverty through employment.

“With more than 150 applicants, the activity includes an orientation, on-the-spot examination and interview as part of the screening process. Screened applicants will have their final interview in Manila,” it said.

Magsaysay Global has been sending professional housekeepers to Japan since last year.

A Local Recruitment Activity was also conducted with more than 50 applicants, the local government added.
