Mayor Catacutan to BCDA: Capas ready to supply workers for New Clark City
Mayor Reynaldo Catacutan of Capas, Tarlac has urged the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) to tap workers from his municipality for the construction of New Clark City.
Catacutan met with the representatives from BCDA, infrastructure developer Alloy MTD, and sub-contractors of the project, the Capas Information Office (CIO) said Tuesday.
It said the local chief executive reminded the government agency that Capas has “ample supply of manpower and skilled workers only waiting to be tapped.”
The mayor said that Capaseños must be the priority when it comes to employment at New Clark City.
The New Clark City is one of the big-ticket projects of BCDA under the Build Build Build infrastructure program of the government. With 9,450-hectare land, it is a modern metropolis envisioned to be the next growth driver in Luzon. #
