DPWH to open Bulacan bypass road project next month
A bypass road project in Bulacan is expected to be inaugurated by May, Malacanang said Monday.
Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, quoting the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), said the Plaridel Bypass Road Project Phase 2 will soon be completed.
“Passing through the bypass road will only require a travel time of 30 minutes. The road project is expected to be inaugurated by next month,” he said in a news conference.
According to the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), Roque said the 24.61-kilometer road project will link North Luzon Expressway in Balagtas, Bulacan and the Philippine-Japan Friendship Highway or the Maharlika Highway in San Rafael, Bulacan.
It is funded with assistance from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). #
