Nov 22, 2017 @ 6:58

The Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office led a congress for hundreds of children from indigenous villages in Bataan, as the country celebrates Children’s Month this November.

This year’s theme, “Bata, Dapat ay Ligtas Ka”, guided the Bataan Child Empowerment Council (BCEC) to increase awareness about children’s rights and how to protect them.

Tigas and BEC chair Victoria S. Garcia both, stressed the contribution of the parents in ensuring the safety of their children in spite of concerns and issues in the society.

The congress also highlighted performances from the pupils of different Child Development Centers catered by BCEC.
