Albayalde to Central Luzon cops: Don’t engage in illegal activities
Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director General Oscar Albayalde asked Wednesday police from Central Luzon not to engage in illegal activities.
Albayalde visited Police Regional Office 3 in Camp Olivas, San Fernando, Pampanga, his first as PNP top official since he assumed the post on April 19.
During the visit, he launched his program, dubbed as O.C.A Challenge (One Commendable Act) every day.
During the Commander’s Time forum, Albayalde stressed his call for every PNP personnel in the country to be an example of disciplined men and women in uniform.
“To all the commanders, toe the line and never indulge in any illegal activities, our internal cleansing is sternly being implemented. It is high time that we change the culture of our organization and we, your superiors could not do it alone,” he said.
He also ordered all commanders to be prepared and to implement the necessary security measures for safe and secure Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections on May 14.
