921 newly-promoted Central Luzon cops take oath
Central Luzon police director Chief Supt. Amador Corpus administered on Monday the oath of 921 newly-promoted police personnel in the region.
The oath-taking and mass pinning ceremony for 50 police commissioned officers and 871 non-commissioned officers was held in Camp Olivas, San Fernando City, Pampanga, the Region III Police said in a Facebook post.
“Your promotion signifies not only the recognition of your excellent service to the PNP, but more importantly, the bigger responsibilities that you have to hold in order to help attain our mission,” Corpus said in his remarks.
“Huwag kayong makuntento sa inyong promotion. I want you to keep going, strive harder, and embrace the challenges at stake ahead of you towards the fulfillment of your dreams,” he added.
Corpus told the promoted officers “not to cling to corruption, and engage in illegal activities,” but rather, “serve the Filipino people truthfully and from the heart.”
The ceremony was witnessed by families and relatives of the promoted officers.
